Once upon a time...

The Mixed up Chameleon is an enchanting story written by Eric Carle. 

A chameleon becomes bored with his simple life. He can change colours, yes, but he always appears invisible. So, he starts wishing to be like other animals. Amazingly his wishes come true, but they do not make him happy. He eventually realizes that he would rather be himself than a combination of other things.
